Antique Victorian Solid Pine Mill Cupboard/Painted "Mill Green" with stripped top

This was sold to us as a Victorian pie cooling cupboard but we now know that it isn't. It is fact a genuine "mill cupboard" which would have been on all of the floors of a Victorian mill for the workers to put their bits and bobs in. It's been painted a dark green colour called "mill green" on the outside and has a door with its original round metal handle/knob. The top is still its natural wood -it hasn't been painted and the patina is lovely. The sides of the cupboard have drilled holes in them hence the reason why the previous owner believed it was for cooling food/pies down. These aren't original. Inside the solid pine cupboard, it is unpainted and has a solid wood shelf, perfect for storage. It's in good condition - some slight damage to the metal knob, as photographed and the green paint has wear but that's it. Perfect item for the kitchen, dining room or living room. Was previously used as a mini-bar. W: 33 3/4" (86cm); D: 20 3/4" (53cm); H: 31" (79cm); THIS ITEM CAN BE COLLECTED/VIEWED AT OUR SHOP IN THE PIECE HALL. CAN ALSO BE SENT OUT UK WIDE VIA COURIER (USUALLY £40-£60 WITH SOME REGIONAL EXCEPTIONS) & PLEASE CONTACT US FOR A QUOTE PRIOR TO PURCHASE. LOCAL DELIVERY CAN ALSO BE ARRANGED.
